About me
Hoping to meet someone who I can spend time with who perhaps enjoys cycling, and does enjoy or would like to start walking and camping in areas like the Lakes, Peak District, South West Ireland, Scotland etc. I haven't been walking or camping for a while, but really want to get back into it. As for the cycling I'm a regular cycle commuter and enjoy weekend rides. I've recently started to get into track riding and hope to join in at least with club training soon. I enjoy going to Blues & Rock gigs, nights out for food, films, or the pub for real beers - although I don't like drinking until I'm drunk. I'm slowly learning the Guitar and hope to be able to join in at least open mike nights some time in the next few years. Studying part time for a PhD in and Engineering subject. I haven't been abroad on holiday for a few years. I am not drawn to beach holidays or clubbing holidays, I'd much prefer places where I can wonder around either with great views or historic interest.

- What is your occupation?Researcher at a local Uni working on a new manufacturing technique.
- What are your future plans?I don't tend to plan too far in advance. I'm currently studying part time and that is due to finish in a few months.

- What sort of movies do you like?Allsorts: The Crow films, Bubba Ho Tep, The Evil Dead Trilogy, Eternal Sunshine, Flying Scotsman, Fastest Indian, Easy Rider, Vanishing Point, and loads more...
- FoodAll sorts of different food. Not much better date to be had than a good meal out! I'm just not fond of mushrooms, liver, kidney, some sea food, and stuff like ox tongue.
- DrinksI enjoy a good ale or whiskey but don't like drinking until I'm drunk.
- HolidaysDon't like the idea of beach holidays. I haven't been abroad on holiday for a while, but would like to go to: Greece, Iceland, Hawaii (to see the lava), and Australlia.
- Fav thingMy trusty bike!
- What's your favourite drink?TEA - and lots of it! Like a range of teas, and like taking my time over them.
