About me
I'm a fun-loving, sensual, easy-going, young-looking guy. I love motorbikes, listening to music, especially techno, going out to techno clubs and to see live bands and going to see live comedy.
I want to meet a like-minded girl I can share my hopes and dreams with, talk with, laugh with, go out with, stay in with, cuddle up with, anything and everything really..
I've always wanted to travel across Europe and beyond on an long adventure holiday, but I only want to do that if I have someone wonderful to share the experience with..
I play in a techno band with my best mate and we have played in clubs in Portsmouth a number of times. We have recently started running a night at various venues in Portsmouth playing dub reggae DJ sets and with a live dub reggae band. Great fun!!

About me
- Where I liveWanted to put a quick message here about this site. I found out there is a setting for "Who Can Contact Me". Insanely, this defaults to "Men Only" and I never knew I even needed to check that setting, so if anyone has tried to message me and I haven't repied, this is why. I'm sorry about that. What a stupid setting :( I live in Portchester, a town just outside Portsmouth, in Hampshire. But as no ones ever heard of it, I just say "I'm from Portsmouth". Its got an old roman castle and a small and fairly useless shopping precinct. Well, useless unless you like to buy things like carpets, disabled peoples motorised chairs and plastic models of old ships. None of which particularly interest me.
- Where are you originally from?I was born in Essex, but i moved away when I was three, so hopefully none of the usual "Essex-boy" traits have followed me. Well, apart from I only seem to buy Ford cars and I like to lower them and put loud exhausts on them. Damn, perhaps I am an Essex boy after all ;) Only joking. I love Essex and the people there are wonderful :)
- Do you want to stay there?Well, I left there when I was three, like I said. What a daft question. Unless you mean Portsmouth. I like Portsmouth, but only because its familiar to me. I'd give anywhere a go if I thought I'd be happy there.
- What is your occupation?I work in IT, running networks and firewalls and making sure email systems keep working etc. I want to work in the music industry, but thats eluded me so far, despite my best intentions and playing in a techno band the last 15 years. Ah well, one day perhaps. Hey, do you want to buy a techno cd by a band called Bass2? :)
- What have you done so far? When I left school, I worked in Portsmouth Dockyard making pieces of ships on a variety of different and very dangerous looking machines. After that, I was a lorry mechanic. Then I decided I didn't want to do that for the rest of my life so I became a swot for a bit and went to university to get a degree in Computer Science and I've worked in IT ever since.
- Your perfect partnerWell, theres no such thing as a perfect partner, but a girl I can laugh and share a joke with, talk into the small hours with, listen to music with, go out with, stay in with, cuddle up with, someone to share anything and everything with really. As I'm a fairly slim guy, I tend to like slim to average build girls. Kind and caring attracts me, too.
Stuff I like
- What are you interests/hobbies?Listening to and playing music, playing synthesizers and guitars, watching good comedy both on telly and live on stage, riding my motorbike, a Yamaha R1, driving my car, a BMW M3, watching car and bike racing, watching good, thought provoking films by people like David Lynch, that sort of thing, going out to techno clubs, dancing, and if I've got any time left, reading interesting and thought provoking books.
- MusicAny music as long as its good! I particularly like techno. Some cd's I particularly like are Jeff Mills - Live at Liquid Room Tokyo, L.S.G. - Into The Deep, Arctic Hospital - Citystream, Hallucinogen - In Dub, Routemaster Records - Free The State, Union Jack - There Will Be No Armageddon, Van Basten - Perimitive, Holy Ghost - The Art Lukm Suite, Scion arrange and process Basic Channel. Love stuff by Coldplay, Keane and Snow Patrol too.
- Your fav tv seriesI loved Desparate Housewives, rapidly got bored with Lost and started watching Heroes but I think I'm getting bored with that now too. Twin Peaks by David Lynch was the best TV series ever created. No question. A masterpiece. I quite like Top Gear too. Enjoy excellent comedy shows especially The Day Today, Brass Eye and Alan Partridge.
- PetsAnimals are ok if they are small and cuddly. I'm not at all keen on dogs. They either seem to slobber all over you or try to bite your face off. Neither of which are good personality traits, if you ask me.
- Fav thingI guess at the moment its my new BMW M3.
- What's your favourite radio station ?Radio 1 or a pirate station if I can pick one up.
- What's your favourite tv station ?Channel 4. And BBC2.
- What's your favourite drink?Vodka. I like Budvar too. And a nice cup of Yorkshire tea.
- What's your favourite food?Pizza and Chicken Madras (but not at the same time). I'm quite partial to cheese on toast and North Staffordshire Oatcakes with cheese in. Yum.
My attitude
- MoneyI like to have enough money to do the things that I want to do and to have around me the things I want to have.
- PoliticsPolitics don't interest me. All politicians appear to simply lie in order to get into power then do none of the things they promised they would do. They simply bring in pointless laws that end up affecting the wrong people, like the Criminal Justice Act, to prevent outdoor raves in obscure fields in the middle of nowhere. Since when did it become illegal to have fun? In 1994 apparantly. They should pay attention to the gangs of thugs that roam around at night beating people up and stabbing people rather than try to criminalise people who want to dance or have a few recreational drugs. Looking at my reaction to this question, perhaps politics do interest me then. Just not the political parties that currently exist. Defy stupid laws. Always question authority.
