I am an intelligent sensitive soul with nice eyes (so I'm told) creaky knees and a whole bunch of freckles. My favourite food is ... er ... food, my favourite TV is big drama series (ER and Grey's Anatomy, Heroes and Battlestar). I've read *all* the Harry Potter, Discworld, Agatha Christie and Dalziel & Pascoe novels. I have a dog and two cats who get far more attention than they deserve and I'm often found poring over a cryptic crossword or a really mind-bendingly difficult Su-Doku. I cook well, I iron brilliantly, but I really, really hate washing up! I like a good giggle for no reason at all, open fires, and reading out loud. I never met a dog I didn't like or a cat I didn't respect and believe every problem in the world can and should be solved with beans on toast and hot tea!
