When you write your description, make believe you are face to face for the first time, with someone you find very interesting. You don’t want to give everything away all at once, just some of the highlights. The poet and writer Rainer Maria Rilke advised that one should approach love like an amateur, giving only a little of oneself at a time, for if you give it all away at once, later you’ll have nothing left for yourself. And while it’s not about you, it is about you; because if you are not complete, your relationship will never be either.
