About me
I am: Slightly off kilter with the rest of the world, vaguely socially inept, in possesion of a rather strange sense of humour, iconoclastic (at least I like to think so) and horrendously unattractive (I am, in fact, fishing for compliments there) I happen to be quite fond of long conversations over a bottle, or, more frequently, several bottles of various alcoholic beverages. I drink and smoke far too much than is healthy for me and my doctor has made me acutely aware of this. And I also have no shagging idea what I should write here so I'm filling up the space with random bull that's only vaguely related to my personality, so, if you want to actually get to know me just talk to me, unless of course you like reading through the ramblings of a slightly deranged mind.

- Where I liveI live at the centre of the universe. Really. How I know this is that everything is moving away from it at an equal rate.</end astrophysics joke> Well, I live in Thornbury, a small town with bugger all going on, so if there's anything going on I'm usually 10 miles south of here in bristle (yes, I do type with an accent)
- Do you want to stay there?Lets just say I'm getting the hell out of here as soon as I get together enough money
- What is your occupation?I work in the space range and merchandising department of a certain well known supermarket chain. It's boring as hell but pays for the booze.
- What have you done so far?The usual partying and other misc. stupid stuff that I'm sure everyone else has done at some point or another. Most notably I once decided to see how long I could deprive myself of sleep, managed to go for about 65 hours before I got bored.
- What are your future plans?Find somewhere decent to live, find someone nice I can have some fun with (what the hell did you expect? this is a dating website) and more of the same in relation to drinking heavily
- Your perfect partnerIntelligent, similar sense of humour, must be able to recognise where "We are the knights who say.... NI!" comes from, preferably as insane as I am in much the same way, put up with my friends, etc.
Stuff I like
- What are you interests/hobbies?Parties (naturally), freaking out the normal people (viking costumes would be perfect), listening to music loud enough that it gives you massive hearing damage, coming up with stupid ideas that would probably get me killed (such as, there's a rough pub in bristle called the rising sun, so I'd go in there and start singing "There is.. a house.. in New Orleans" and then run like hell. Please note I haven't been drunk enough to actually try this yet)
- MusicI have a particular liking for punk rock and am commonly found at gigs usually dressed in ridiculous trousers, big boots and an army jacket.
- Your fav tv seriesHouse is my favourite running series, gotta love the cantankerous old bugger. Other than that it's The Clangers, The Magic Roundabout and The Young Ones. And yes, I do realise that's a pretty weird list.
- Your fav books/authorsI'm quite partial to a bit of cyberpunk in the Gibson tradition but also funnier things like The Illuminatus! Trilogy and Snow Crash. Basically geek literature.
- What sort of movies do you like?I'll watch anything with an interesting concept behind it, have a tendency to go for sci-fi or action films but recently there's been an avant-garde film or two that's picked up my interest (damn I sound like a poser there). I don't really like romantic films but I'm sure I could sit through one if I was allowed to make jokes about it throughout.
- Types of people you like?Quiet people tend to interest me far more than the loud ones. You get to slowly find out about them rather than just everything coming all at once and when you do think you know them they always give you suprises. I also like people who can hold up their end of the conversation, I have a hard enough time holding up my end, let alone their's as well.
- What kind of people do you find attractive? I tend to not be too bothered about looks, far more concerned with personality. That being said you probably won't get far if you look like something out of a 50s horror movie
- FoodI eat to live rather than live to eat. And I eat like a sparrow. Well, not insects and other related things but more in the amount.<smirk> I'm quite fond of italian, chinese and indian food but nothing too "out there" so bull's testacles are right out.
- DrinksYes please, I'll drink anything with an alcohol content but I do have a preference for vodka and guinness. Yeah, weird mix, I know.
- HolidaysHolidays with friends are great, doesn't really matter where you go but you always have a good time.
- PetsI'm not good with dogs, or any other pets really. I do tend to get along with cats though, you always know what they want; food.
- Fav thingI've got a rather nice laptop that I'm typing all this out on. Big chunky milspec job, 'tis a Panasonic Toughbook CF29 if you're interested.
- Fav PlaceAnywhere with drink and friends
- What's your favourite drink?As I've said, vodka or guinness. The vodka straight, on the rocks of course.
- What's your favourite food?Quite partial to szchechuan chicken with chow mein
- What are your favourite activities?Well, there's one obvious one considering I'm a bloke but I'll leave that one out. Others include spouting inane humour and mildly brain damaged 4chan memes and listening to absurdly loud music.

- Family lifeNever quite understood the whole family thing. You can choose your friends but you're stuck with your family.
- Jobs&WorkingA job is for money, nothing more
- MoneyMoney only means what it can be used for, which, in the grand scheme of things, isn't much. So long as I have enough money to pay the bills I'm fine
- PoliticsI have quite heavy anarchist politics, a cliche in the punk scene I know but still, it just makes more sense than any other system of society.
