About me
I'm Mat. A straight forward sort of guy. I'm honest and open minded, I try and take the time to get to know people and I believe in trust, respect and friendship. I don't like too much ego generally but I find people who are genuine 'characters' entertaining, or at least tolerable (if they just can't help it). I love playing music in bands, my job, going running, walking and swimming, friends, family, dogs and other animals, playing the guitar, bass or violin, trying to sing, listening to live music, sunny days, open countryside, road trips, spending time with someone special, being daft and quite a few other things too. I can be a little shy sometimes but I believe that a shy person who overcomes their fears is one of the bravest. The flipside is that I'm caring, a good listener, loyal and supportive. I can also cook reasonably well!!
