- Where I liveI live in Strood, Kent,
- Where are you originally from?I have always lived in Medway all of my life (so far) but don't plan on staying here!
- What is your occupation?I have just qualified as a Geologist, I soon begin training as a Volcanologist in Mexico. I hope to begin a Phd next year and eventually work as an Academic
- What have you done so far?I have worked in some dull jobs but they have paid my way through University, bars, shops etc. I have had a few decent jobs, as a Medical Lab Assistant working in Haematology and as a Field Assistant in Iceland, so not always dull !
Stuff I like
- What are you interests/hobbies?I like to walk, hike, climb and being as far away from civilisation is always a bonus but not all of the time. I like to go out to bars and clubs to dance, which to some is horrific as I can't dance and don't care either way as long as it makes me happy! I like to try and keep fit when I have the time, I go to a gym.
- MusicI love most music that is remembered after its been out for a couple of weeks, so not R&B, House or Metal. I like musicals and the opera.
- Your fav tv seriesI don't usually have time to watch TV but since finishing my degree have made good use of it, I like Scrubs, Desperate Housewives, CSI, Futurama and obviously The Simpsons.
- Your fav books/authorsI love Phillip Pullman he's books aren't realistic which gives you the opportnity to take your own imagination to a new level.
- What sort of movies do you like?I like most films, best probably The Green Mile and Shrek, strange combination I know but the first two that came to mnd.
- Types of people you like?I like honest, realisitic people. Humour and a desire to self improve, too many people just give up these days and settle for less. I also like people with the ability to switch off from reality and just be random without planning things obsessively.
- FoodI am a vegetarian so vegetables are a good start if I eat out then my choice is Italian although I don't dislike, Indian, Chinese or Thai. I don't like greasy food though so usually don't eat takeaway.
- DrinksI love mojitos and Alabamba slammers, I like Amaretto and can drink bucket loads without being sick or getting violent which is good for the people I'm with but bad for my pocket :o(
- HolidaysI like to relax on holiday but can't lay around much as theres far to many other things to be doing. A good drink is always a bonus, cheap rather large cocktails, bring it on!
- PetsI have one pet a little cockatiel called 'Amy' she was hand reared and so is incredibly tame and wins the hearts of all those that meet her.
My attitude
- Family lifeFamily are the most important thing in the world, nothing will ever take their place not even for a second.
- Jobs&WorkingI don't mind not earning a huge amount of money although it would be nice as long as I enjoy the work.
- PoliticsI'm sure politics were supposed to make the world a better place, most of the time it doesn't feel like it does. However anarchy isn't the way forward. I think the UK has become to nice, allowing all kinds of crazy things to happen.
