Hi im John Hutton , i go to stirling university where i am currently studying Bus and Sports studies. My main intrests are intrested but i am a huge darts and cricket fan so anyone with those intrests would be good. I am easy going normally but can get into a temper easily which isnt good. Plaaying sport i can be very competitive infact i think im totally diffrent on the cricket field. I can be the things i totally dislike but off it i am as i said easy going. I like people who have well an imature sense of humour someone who shares the same intrests and someone who is shy first meeting them but once you get to know them theyll that all day like myself. What else oh yes im not really a club person more a pud kind and really more of a guy who would like a night in rather than get hammered sorry thats just me apart from that i think thats it thanks

About me
- Where I liveWell i live in a small village called Torphichen near Bathgate and Linlithgow. Its a fairly big house that has a few other houses surrounding it but is a nice quite peacefull area.
- Where are you originally from?Im orriginally from a Town called Birtley near newcastle so im originally a geordie who supports sunderlkand (Nice Combo) where i grew up untill about the age of 6. I then moved to near BZishop Auckland in a Village called Witton le wear. I then moved to a village near sunderland at the age of 11 called Whitburn because it was closer for my dad at work and finally up here in bathgate where i have been living more than 2 years because my dad retired and his grandfather was Scottish and felt this is the pace to be so there u are theres a brief history of my life.
- Do you want to stay there?well to be honest it depends if i make lifelong friends here in the next few years or someone like my soulmate lives near here. The possibility is likley but if this doesnt happen i may think about moving back to the North east of England.
- What is your occupation?My current occupation is a full time student at Stirling University.
- What have you done so far?Well ive gone to Merchiston Castle school before this. I havent really done any specific jobs apart from helping out in gardening in an old peoples home next to the school which was volentery so i cannot exactly call it a job. I have played cricket for a while now since i was 9 so thats a big thing in my life so be prepared in the summer to not see me all day on saturdays as ill be having a cricket game unless you are intrested that is!
- What are your future plans?I think i just take what comes to me in life. As ive said im easy going and to be fair i am sort of settled here at the moment. Im sure ill make friends at university so yeh im prety much happy at the moment
- Your perfect partnerOK well this is hard because if i put minute detail in i may put people off thinking im not intrested which is totally false. OK my perfect partner in general must have a sense of humour, someone who is shy at first untill they get to know you then will chat all day basically like myself, someone ideally who shares the same intrests as me which could be anything from the sports i play ie cricket and darts to things like movies and Music ie Meet the parents, Scooby doo, Pirates of the carribean or in music Cascada, Johnny Cash, Anistacia, Blues Brothers, REM, Oasis ect. Basically someone who still isnt fully grown up yet like myself. They dont need to be attractive. I hate it went people go on saying oh hes or shes ugly. To me and i know most people wont belive what im saying here because im a man but its more personality with me. Ive been around some attractive people at uni talking to me and i cannot stand them because they just dont suit my taste of personality. I prefer someone i can live with the rest of my life rather than someone i cannot. And thats another thing. Im not to fussed about self image. Obviously not really scruffy but soeone who isnt that bothered about how pretty they look ect. Me when i go out just to the shps i honestly dont care what people think of me. Let them think oh he isnt wearing the latest fashion hes a looser because that isnt what matters its the person tjat matters so dont be thinking oh i need to be this and that because i cannot stand it. my sister is like that and i almost have a stroke cause it takes her an hour to put some daft make up on. And lastly they have to be genuine and speak there mind. For example if they dont like something say it or if they do like something say it. Its better to be honest cause then people can take u for what u are. Id also like someone who would prefer a quite drink in a pub or a night in instead of someone who likes clubbing (I cannot stand it) So as you can see im fussy but at least im to the point which id like my partner to be as well. Oh yes must also be a non smoker if thats ok.
Stuff I like
- What are you interests/hobbies?Well ive mentioned them above cricket and darts. Dont worry im not a guy who gets drunk every night i just love the sport. Those guys have got some talent and people dont realise how skillfull it is. you cannot ask someone from the street and throw 3 darts and score a 180. It just doesnt happen like that. Sorry im blabbering on again. Again cricket i like. I also like squash on a non competitive basis and if anyone likes tennis ive started thinking about taking this up as well it seems a great sport. I like computer games (what guy doesnt) especially my ps2 and 3 ive just completed tomb raider anivrsery im chuffed i got stuck on one bit for 4 months but now ive done it take that the creator of the game ive defeated you! As ive said i am competitive. I have an intrest in sports relatted stuff such as injuries and drugs etc which ive done at uni.
- MusicI am a really huge Cascada fan. I used to be a person that liked bits and pieces from diffrent artists then 2 years ago i listened to Miricle one of the songs and from then on that was it i have basically everything theve done on my mp3. Ive even got What hurts the most of limewire and it isnt even out untill the 5th dec over here fantastic. Natalie is the only artist i can say that i like every song she has made from stuff like dance trully madly deeplly to another you a slow song so yeh huge fan. I also like artists with unique voices. People will say u must be 50 not 19 when i say i like people like Anistacia, Johnny Cash, Dolly Partin, Oasis, REM,Cher, Blues Brothers, and Joss Stone - now she does have a unique voice theres no questioning that!
- Your fav tv seriesInteresting well it would have to be still game a scottish comedy its fantastic about two old guys called Jack and Victor who live in a flat in Glasgow brilliant. Those guys should be international superstars. Extras is another one with Ricky Gevais in it thats quite amusing there are others but i will leave it at those 2.
- Your fav books/authorsIm not really a book person and im certainitly not into Harry Potter!Complete made up rubbish. Guys at my cricket club have had speed reading challanges to see how can read it the quickest its a joke instead of watching the game there have there heads stuck in that book. However i will read some books especially autobiographies of sports stars i admire. Ive read so far Alec Stewart,Darren Gough, Shane Warne, Ian Botham and Glen Mugrath autobiographies for cricket and Phil Taylors autobiography for darts. Im hoping one on Raymond van Barneveeld and John Part comes out they are also my darting heroes.
- What sort of movies do you like?OK well i like comedies very much like Meet the Fockers that was brilliant, Mr Bean , Pirates of the carribean, Spiderman, Batman, Fantastic four you get the picture. I also like films oh i forgot the name it had antony hopkins in he tried to murder his wife and this guy was offerd to defend him but he said he couldnt because it was wrong. He ended up trying to prosecute him being unsucessfull. But then Hopkins made the error of signing to switch off his wifes life support machine and this time he got done for attempted murder because the guy had the evidence this time and he was done for it those sort of films i like!
- Types of people you like?Some one that is genuine and speaks there mind.. Someone who likes to talk and makes you feel comftable with them. Someone once you get to know them is the dominant one who sorts things out because im no good at them things. Someone who tries to give me hints in what to do and say sometimes i can be nervous and freese like in my french GCSE my french teacher gave me hints what to say in my speaking exam wasnt supposed to but she did. Peoplke who like do do things i can be easily bored and need to do things to keep me occupied. Someone who likes to be amused and is amused easily because i aint the joker of the pack.
- What kind of people do you find attractive? Outer apperance like ive said means nothing. Personality is my number 1 priority when i judge people. Just because there good looking doesnt mean youll spend good times together. You need to be comftable with them and want to spend time together not to say look how ive pulled like some sad competition. I suppose its cause im not great looking myself. Although i dont find goths attractive sorry no offence just not the personality im looking for. Someone as well whos apperance doesnt bother then to a certain degree i mean lokking like a tramp maybe il have something against that but even if its just tracky Bs thats fine i wear them myself. Can i just say something because u wear Tracky Bs why do people instantly judge you and call u a NED its not right! Im mean i wear what im conftable in often smart tracky Bs and a cricket top if your comftable with that then im comftable with it!
- FoodI like very much English types of food like beef and yorkshire pudding, stuff like that. I like italian Pizzas, Pastas with certain sources raviolli, I also like chinease. Well ive never been to an indian restrant because i hate Indian food! I like chinease restrants, Italian restrants and general pub/restrant kind of places where u need to ne smart but not over the top dressed up but the food is good kind of places. I hate cooking and hope i will never need to do anything apart from ready made food. It would be very helpfull if she could cook Food to me means quite a bit i would say i like it but i wouldnt die for it if u know what i mean? I dont really have any attitudes towards eating apart from enjoy what your eating thats my motto.
- DrinksTo be honest the only alcholic drink i like is cider (yes u can laugh)I have seen people get pissed unable to walk and one thing i have promised myself is i will never be in that persons shoes ever!!!I never want to experience that its just not fun to me and i cannot see why people enjoy it. So no i will drink but i will never get hammered thats a promise. To be honest theres nothing better than a nice cup of tea (again you can kill yourself with laughter.)
- HolidaysI really like holidays away from home so i can do what i want for a change instead of revolving it around what the family wants eg i went to florida now i want to go and paly mini golf with my sister but i have to compramise by going shopping with my parents for 5 hours to allow me to play mini golf. I went on my own to see my oldmates and i really enjoyed it because i could do what i wanted to do eg play golf watch tv with friends go out wit friends it was so much better but still i would miss my family if i didnt go on holiday with them i wowuld actually like to visit Australia and Canada but again my parents like florida so thats fine however if i do find my soulmate i could go with them to Canada especially its supposed to be a magnifcent country and who knows maybe ill bump into John part the Canadian Dart player.? Ive been to florida and diffrent places within it, Ive been to Paris - was good especially euro disney and the Isle of Man - Boring!Again reall its Florida. To be perfictaly honest a holiday at home would be nice. I know the weatheer abroad is better but i mean id like to have christmas at home for a change instead of Florida. Maybe going abroad when im older would be a good think but i dont thing it would really bother me too much. Although i still want to go to Canada!
- PetsWell my favorite pet has to be dogs cause i have two of them both minature Schnowzers. At first when they were little there were a pain but now ive grown to love them! Ive always found Parrots very interesting animals. I think there is intellegence there that most other birds dont have and u can teach them tricks as well. Sharks are very interesting too. When i was younger i was fasinated by them. I went to Typhoon Lagoon oon the shark thing they were only about two foot long but they were baby sharks. I was in a way frighteng (Yes u can laugh) because i have read about these creatures and what they can do and i just had images of these sharks when they are older destroying boats eating seals ect which made me jump up in the water my sister said are u ok and she was only 8 at the time and i was 14 and said yeh im fine but was actually physically shaking. Not at the sharks themselves but the visions i got of what they would become. Snakes as well are interesting ive never seen things move as quick which dont have legs and of course alligators they do send a shiver down my spine even when there is a cage between u and them!
- Fav thingOK well your gonna laugh but my cricket equiptment espacially my bat. To a cricketer a bat can mean everything. It is a symbol of how u are if you have a rubbish one you are weak and powerless with a good one it gives you a confidence that is unexplainable. I have had a bat before i would walk out still nervous but i knew i had the instrument to do the job and got me my first ever centuarry. This is definatly my most prized possesion after i finished with it i got another one that wasnt as good and that confidence wasnt there and showed in my batting so i switched back and suddenly my form came back yes its definatly my prized posession. As well as that my other prized possesions are my county cap when i played for durham u12 - 15s and Scotland u 17s representing my country. The thing is that nobody can take that away from u youve been there and done it and u have the evidence to prove it. When i look at my Scotland cap i feel a sense of achevement and pride that i have done something that only a few can experience!
- Fav PlaceMy favorite place has to be South Shields cricket Club. I have experienced so many things there sucess and failure. All in one ground i remember once we needed 3 to win i was last man in and was out first ball thaat feeling i have never known anything like it it was awfull then a month later at the same place i was given the ball 5 to win needing 2 wickets and i got the two wickets and won the game for them. The feeling was so diffrent that feeling of achevement that u have won u have come out on top is teriffic. I have experienced so many things at that ground and im sorry to say it is my favorite place. Iwould say closely behind is lords cricket ground the atsmophere is well u can almost smell the history there and is indeed a very special place.
- What's your favourite radio station ?I dont really listen to the radio when i do though it is normally real radio.
- What's your favourite tv station ?Sky Sports - It has all the sports on it that i like Cicket and Darts and the coverage is amazing.
- What's your favourite drink?My favorite drink is bot Root Beer , Tea and Lemonade that is non alcholic alcholic wise there is only one option Cider prefably Magners
- What's your favourite food?Favorite food has to be steak and Chips there is no other competition that beats it. My ideal 3 course meal would be Smoked salmon for starter then stake followed by icec ream i know im not to fussy with what i eat am i haha. also chinease is nice beef and sweetcorn i like and i also like lasangne as my favorite food.
- What are your favourite activities?My favorite activities have to be firstly cricket whether its practicing or playing it i love it and at any oppertunity if i can have a team practice i will always say yes however i do not like traning on my own. Its boring and there is only so much i can do. My dad always says its an individual thing but it isnt its 11 players against 11 not one on one. I love darts as well. Normally i will play games under a friendly basis i aint good enough for proper competition but i like watching it even more especially the top Guys Like Taylor vs Barneveld now thats unmissable that 2007 world championship final between them two was the greatest match ive ever seen! I do train in the gym near the cricket season but i cannot say i enjoy it more i need to do it kind of thing which would be good if i did meet my soul mate would push me because i can be lazy and not put the work in.
My attitude
- Family lifeWell my family is sort of traditional they have traditional values and normally have conservitave views but i aint bothered at the minute about politics. In marrige terms they are very traditional on the get married front rather than live together but my Dad especially hates traditional wedings and calls them a waste of time and money. I must be honest a huge weddin has never excited me but say a special one has with a few close friends but not a huge one. I can honestly say i can see myself getting married. Maybe not straight away maybe even in my 30s but i cansee it happen. I could not have short term relationships thats not me i want to settle down with a partner for like and thats it. Another thing i should have mentioned is that i rely heavily on routine and if something from outside interfeers with that im not a happy chappy. so the longer it is the better it is. But i can definatly see myself getting marrried and maybe a few kids.
- Jobs&WorkingWell id have to do a job i enjoyed. I mean obviouslly the money is a good thing but if you dont enjoy your job whats the point in doing it so yes the job i do eventually is important to me not for the money although this would be nice but to enjoy it. I would like to stay in one company or one field all my carrear i like i said before dont like change.
- MoneyId much rather have friends than money. They say money cannot buy you happiness and i think this is true. Its ok being rich but having no friends well its like been oor isnt it so friends are importnt especially close friends.
- Politicswell normally im not a fan of politics and usually aint botherd but there are more and more things comming in now that do concern me that will affect my generation thanks to mr Blair such as Immigration and the rise of taxes and petrol prices and especially global warming. Im starting now to tend towards conservitive but i must stress im only slightly interested in politics.
