About me

Hi, I'm Jonathan and I'm a 3rd year chemistry student at York University. I work very hard at my degree and I am determined to get where i want to be in that respect, I'm also up for a lots of partying and having a laugh too :) I'm part of the University trampolining club and have being for 2 years. Theres so much more to the sport than I originally thought and I enjoy it a great deal. I also love playing the piano/keyboard and I attempt to compose now and then, although I doubt its very good! :) I'm on here to meet new people to chat to, and if things go well then maybe more :)

About me

Where I liveI live in York with 3 of my friends who are also at York uni. I enjoy living here and the area is nice with lots of local shops and town very close :D.
Where are you originally from?I'm from the town of Keighley in Yorkshire. Which is half an hour away from Leeds.
Do you want to stay there?Next year (In July) I will be moving to Red car, still in Yorkshire (I can see a trend here :P) for my 4th year Industrial placement, which I'm looking forward to alot :D. Don't know where I will go after this.
What is your occupation?I am a student at York uni in Chemistry (Boring!) :D Some of it is really dry, but some of it is bareable and I like to know how things work which is the reason I took the course I suppose.
What have you done so far?During in the Summer I worked at a Furniture company to help fund my studies ( or partying? :P) I have a fair few hours at Uni so working during term time would take away the free time I actually get.
What are your future plans?Well I'm going to red car for a year. I think i want to do a PhD but I'm not completely sure yet. Ill have to wait and see!
Your perfect partnerHmm, I think the most important thing is just to be chilled out and relaxed about things and being able to have a laugh and enjoy life. But also being able to look at things in a serious way too when something important comes up.

Stuff I like

What are you interests/hobbies?Trampolining, I love it alot. Being at the club for 2 years. I enter lots of competitions and do 'ok' I suppose :D. Its much more than just a competition there is a great social aspect to them too, meeting lots of new people along the way! I've starting diving as well and I'm really enjoying this too :D
MusicI'm a bit strange when it comes to music, I like a very wide range of music. I play the piano so I will 'occasionally' listen to a bit of classical. But I'll also listen to jazz,pop,rap,rock,rnb..... anything really!
Your fav tv seriesI love stand up comedy and panel shows. So things like ' Live a the Apollo' and ' Mock the week'. I also like the Simpson's and Family guy.
PetsThe cat at my parents house is the funniest laziest fattest cat. Hes awesome!

My attitude

MoneyI'm sure everyone would rather have friends than money. Having someone there to lookout for you when your down is really important. I'm always there to talk to if anyone is down. Money is way over rated in todays society.
