About me
- Where I liveI think that the Newcastle City Council really do spend the tax-payers cash on purely worthwhile environmental projects. There are also some other comments I would like to make: This City is and has been in the past, voted as UK PARTY CITY. Folks, make now mistake about this comment. Check the archives of many media sites. It was true (in 1984 - I was a cab driver in the city) and I read that NEWCASTLE was voted 18th on the whole planet! Is that a buzz or what? A little bit about GEORDIES: COAL MINES - SHIPYARDS - STEELWORKS. All closed, for the most part, for our pre-decessors - but we have one of the best (if not the best) University and also many first class training colleges in the country. It is the truth, check it out, guys! Happy, go-get-em and soooooo socialble folks, where the new world kicks in, yet the past is haunting for some. I live and was brought up near the NEWCASTLE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, about 2 miles from my village. It has a remarkable history - even to the extent of a murder in 1873! (Snowball murder). The village has 3 public houses, and one social club. Population is approx: 4500. There is a Londis store, situated near the centre, where you can purchase many items, whilst being verbally abused by the owner...Mr Rehan.
- Where are you originally from?Alpha Centauri. Alpha Centauri is the closest star system to our own solar system at 4.37 light-years distant (about 41.5 trillion km, 25.8 trillion miles. Proxima Centauri, usually regarded as part of the system, is the closest star at 4.22 light-years distant. Alpha Centauri's relative proximity makes it a logical choice as "first port of call" in speculative fiction about interstellar travel, which predicts eventual human exploration, and even the discovery and colonization of planetary systems. These themes are common to countless works of science fiction and video games. That is my birthplace, folks...
- Do you want to stay there?I was born and bred here - and have worked all over the planet earth in order to keep my family in food and under a roof, whilst trying to re-build my spacecraft. Sometimes I feel that I really do need a new place, yet ...the old roots seem to kick in - but who knows? I am getting too old for the boots to get back on my feet! (Might try once more) Need to ask Isaac Newton a few things, ok?
- What is your occupation?I have been in the construction industry since a kid. All kinds, yet without a real trade. From 1974, I was into the tunnelling business, and followed the work nationwide. Channel Tunnel was my best project. Oh, man - what a job! My most recent work (developed all on my own) is IT. That is relating to PC (computer-related) problems. It is now what I like and what I do.
- What have you done so far?Read above... Doh!
- What are your future plans?GOING TO NEPTUNE (BAR) and opening an 'Interstellar Cafe'.
- Your perfect partnerA girl with great ideas, with whom I could develop my own true skills and pehaps setup a small business (with her money, and me as the worker).
Stuff I like
- What are you interests/hobbies?SEX, PLAYING MY GUITAR, PLAYING MY GUITAR AND SINGING, PLAYING MY GUITAR AND HAVING EGGS THROWN AT ME, INTERNET - PROGRAMMING, MY GRANDKIDS ARE ABSOLUTELY MINT KIDS, I LURVE THEM.... MOVIES, BEER, SEX, TRAVEL, INDIAN FOOD, SEX, CHINESE FOOD, SEX COOKING MY OWN FOOD, EATING ALL KINDS OF FOOD BEFORE AND AFTER....urm...SEX, GOING TO THE TOILET, COMING BACK FROM THE BOG - anything wrong with me yet?
- MusicCLAPTON, JACKSON BROWNE, EAGLES, BEATLES & LENNON!, and soooo many more - ask me, I am a musician (as such).
- Your fav tv seriesWell, if I was with someone female who loved the series, it would be for a good laugh - FATHER TED! That show was and still is fantastic. Cry & laugh all at the same time! Favorite episode was MAINLAND.
- Your fav books/authorsNot much of a bookworm right now, but have been. Just the authors here, maybe: Dean Koontz, James Herbert, oh and one I discovered in 1995 while working in Blackpool, UK: RICHARD PRESTON. Strange his surname relates to a nearby town in the area. Found the book, entitled, 'The Hot Zone' - while looking for some handcream in a local chemist...hmm? (cement burns at work)ok?
- What sort of movies do you like?Movies - oh now...lets skip the sloppy stuff now...and get down to hardcore action! Bruce Willis movies - yeah! All of them... Firewall - Harrison Ford - mint stuff. Deep Water /Dark Water (2 diff movies). EVENT HORIZON. Horror types (not low-budget please!) 12 monkeys (Hi Bruce!) Is he class or what? And, there was a d/load I got from a P2P which was very good and it was called: THE DEVILS REJECTS. Oh f**k, was that some sordid screening? And the sequel - I forget the title...wow!
- Types of people you like?I feel comfortable in people I know and trust. But the only way to get to know folks is actually meet up with them and socialise. From that point on, we base our instincts on the meet! (eg: If a person gets drunk and does/says things out of order) then he is socially quarantined. He needs to be spoken to from a mentor of our team, in order to be released.
- What kind of people do you find attractive? I, as a male, find females attractive if they look at me as if they have some space in my life. They need to be fairly slim, as such. Males are attractive if they buy me a beer!
- FoodIndian food from restaurants, or takeaway. Chinese too. I enjoy the in-house hospitality of the waiters. Meeting other folks in the same type of venue is great - it can create new freindships.
- DrinksOn a serious note - yes I do enjoy a drink with friends. Have a good piss-up when needed, but, and lets all face it - we don't need it day in and day out. Sorry, Father Jack - your time is up! OK, so what time are we going for a drink?
- HolidaysTravel - take me anywhere! Been to Turkey many times and might stay 4-eva at some point if I win the Lottery. But, on a serious note, I would like to travel to many obscure destinations and observe the culture of those who are resident at that particular place.
- PetsI have no problems with any animals. Mind you - I would never try to catch a rattlesnake..had one as a wife a while back, but she caught me! No, but on a serious note here..I love all animals, fullstop. Best is watching the nature movies on National Geographic and other proggies - my favorite dog is... GOLDEN LABRADOR.
- Fav thingOh - My PC, I guess. Where and why and how would I be here without it?
- Fav PlaceThis is difficult question to answer. (Who asks these anyway!) Holiday resorts, I guess, but some childhood memories of silly local places where we kids used to go for camping trips and suchlike.
- What's your favourite radio station ?Radio is obsolete...almost.
- What's your favourite drink?Do you have favourite drink? (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) My non alcoholic drink is Fanta orange. Beer is the other.
My attitude
- Jobs&WorkingJobs are money - we all work for the return payment. There are also opportunities in a work environment to 'go up the ladder'. If ya want it - go and get it!
- MoneyMy feelings here are a follows: In general, we all need a certain amount of money to provide ourselves (& family) with food, and a roof. Money comes into many categories: but this question simply asks why I need it. My answewr is this: to buy a new ink cartridge for my printer. SAD.
- PoliticsANYONE INVOLVED IN A GOVERNMENTAL SUITE IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED. THIS IS TRUE, AS I HAVE BEEN THERE AND WITNESSED IT.
