About me
- Where I liveI live in central Brighton which is great, especially as it's very easy to commute to London for the theatre/arts scene. The ideal place I'd like to live is central London, but I'm not sure how much I could take of the constant hustle and bustle without being able to get away from it all!!!
- What is your occupation?I work in the theatre, which I love, and I aspire to work as a stage manager in the West End of London.
- What have you done so far?I went to drama school as an actor, which I enjoyed, but I definitely prefer working the other side of the curtain. I'd do any job in the theatre, often unpaid, just to do the job I love!! I've also done lots of meaningless jobs in offices/call-centres, which I hope I'll never have to go back to!!! I find call-centres drain somewhat my will to live.
- What are your future plans?I intend to move to London so I can easily be involved in the arts scene, without having to worry about the 11:32pm last train to Brighton!!
- Your perfect partnerAs I am very recently single since coming out of a long-term relationship, I am looking for friendship at first with someone who lives relatively locally to myself. If anything develops from that, then I guess it's fate :-) but I am a very laid back person and don't believe in forcing this type of thing!!! Ideally, she would have very similar interests and ideally work/study in a similar area (due to the hours kept)

- What are you interests/hobbies?I see musicals and plays as much as I can, and I like to read (when I'm travelling, in particular). Going to the theatre, either working or as a patron, is my favourite thing to do above all else (within reason) ;-)
- Your fav tv seriesWell, I am obsessive about The X-Files since about a year ago when I was introduced to it, (loooong after the series finished, incidentally!!), and I watch it far too much. I'd hope I would be humoured about this 'hobby'!!!
- Your fav books/authorsI tend to read crime fiction, simply because of it's accessibility and the fact I don't read when at home, only whilst travelling. Therefore picking up a heavy, tough piece of serious literature isn't ideal on a busy train!! I especially like Peter James (Detective Grace novels), and Agatha Christie.
- What sort of movies do you like?I tend not to enjoy Hollywood's offerings, with a couple of major (and shameful!) exceptions, these being Terminator 2 and The Usual Suspects, the latter being of my favourite movies! I usually lean towards more art-house style films and musicals, I love the movie of Chicago, and The Producers, and the 60's French cult classic Les Parapluies de Cherbourg is a beautiful film, tres romantique!!
- Types of people you like?I like people who are confident, outgoing people, and who don't put up a barrier around themselves, which I find quite threatening. I'd much rather a person said what they were thinking than sat stoney faced!! I find it very unattractive if a girl is arrogant, and *knows* they are beautiful, and therefore creates a 'bitch' persona. I've known a LOT of people like this, and deep down they're very insecure people. I like people to speak their mind if they disagree with me, with the exception of discussing political/religious views which can only ever end badly!!!
- What kind of people do you find attractive? I love a pretty smile and expressive eyes, and I really look for a confident personality in a girl. I think it would be ignorant to say one particular 'type' of girl is attractive!!!
