I think I am easy to talk to, positive, sincere, gentle and maybe just a little shy initially. Just a normal, together person with very little baggage – well, we all have some as we all have a past but mine's all packed away now - who would like someone special in her life. I don't NEED a man in my life but I would LIKE a man in my life. I'm straight forward and have a dry sense of humour, always finding a funny side when there is one. I believe life is short, you never know what is around the corner so make the most of what you have and enjoy it. I'm low maintenance - I'm easy to please & to get along with, you don't have to impress me with money, status etc.

About me
- Where I liveI love living in Devon although not so keen on the area where I currently live - it was chosen for convenience only. I'd prefer to be nearer to the moors and the coast.
- Where are you originally from?Originally from Surrey, although my home town has now been incorporated into Greater London. Escaped almost 30 years ago and although it is nice to go back for a visit, I am always glad to return to the South West.
- Do you want to stay there?I'd hate to live in a busy city and hope eventually to move either to Cornwall or France.
- What is your occupation?I work in the social care sector. I love the client contact but hate the bureaucracy of paperwork!
- Your perfect partnerMy "perfect partner" would be just an ordinary guy, looks not important, who is kind, caring and considerate. If he was also good at DIY that would be fantastic!
Stuff I like
- What are you interests/hobbies?My main occupations are DIY and gardening, through necessity as much as enjoyment. I love the Eden Project and visit several times a year as there is always something new to see. Other than that, I spend a lot of time at my sister's, helping her run her B&B in Cornwall.
- What sort of movies do you like?Two favourite movies are Shawshank Redemption and O Brother Where Art Thou - both a bit odd, really! Can't stand blood, gore and violence.
