About me
I like to think I stand apart from most people, and refuse to be pigeon-holed. I'm not very materialistic, my only vice being a good home cinema system. I like to make people laugh, although I can be quite shy in large groups - I prefer one-to-one or small groups of people, to let my individualism shine through. I'm attracted to intelligence and creativity - I believe both can rub off on me and make me a better person ! I like people who are quirky, feisty, different. I'm downright lazy at times, and need someone to bring me out of myself to get back to enjoying things like long walks in the country, travelling, going to the theatre/cinema, etc. I've become quite isolated, socially, through my own choice but am now ready to face the world again. I'd much rather be able to take it on with a supportive companion at my side. My childish side refuses to go away, so I can be a little impish at times. Generally, I'm polite and charming, funny and intelligent, supportive and caring.

- Where I liveBulwell, Nottingham. As rough as a grizzly bear's bum. I live in a rented property in a dodgy council estate full of chavs and chavettes.
- Where are you originally from?St Albans, Hertfordshire. Left there in 1990 to start university in Loughborough. Never returned. My parents still live there. Did you know that St Albans has replaced Mayfair on the Monopoly board ? Nope, me neither...
- Do you want to stay there?I don't particularly want to stay in Bulwell. Nottingham is a nice city, and the people are generally friendly. However, I'd settle down anywhere, as long as I was with someone I was truly madly deeply in lurve with.
- What is your occupation?Technically, I'm a civil servant, but I'm on (very) long term sick leave, and will be dismissed soon, leaving me free to choose what I want to do with the rest of my life.
- What have you done so far?Jobs done : bank clerk, civil servant - pretty dull, really.
- What are your future plans?Get me some more education in something I really want to do - eg social work/probation/psychology/criminology

- Your fav tv seriesHouse MD - witty, educational, engaging : Hugh Laurie is just simply fantastic Dexter - the best new series for a very long time The Bill - still the one and only UK cop show Casualty/Holby City - not sure about the new artistic direction they've taken on these shows Cricket - for hours. And hours.
