People tend to go to the pictures as a first date I find this silly as you cant talk, so whats the point? so for me going on a first date ideally would be to go some where nice and relatively peaceful like a restaurant or may a local bar for a drink so we could talk to each other and find out what we like and what we don't like and make a joint decision about where we should go for our second date (if it gets that far...who knows you maybe lucky! lol....just kidding). But we'll see wont we....

Hi!
Well, I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Rachel, I'm 23 and I live in London, where I'm training as a journalist. I love to write but I'm also very inquisitive and like meeting loads of different people, so being able to combine that with writing is what I like about journalism. Before going back to uni, I worked in a theatre.
I'm interested in arts-type stuff, especially books (mostly fiction: Jonathan Coe, Kazuo Ishiguro, Ali Smith...) and theatre.
Otherwise, I like a chat, a laugh and a glass of wine or a g&t with my friends or flatmates, and going to the cinema (favourite films recently: 'Control' and 'Goognight and Good Luck'). Oh, and the gym, and playing squash if I can find someone who is as bad as me!
