i am 21, i play guitar and write music for my band. i have just given up smoking, which has been very difficult espescially when i go to the pub. i grew up among scallys or as u sotherners would say "chavs" but was always a rocker. had the usual self destructive phase as a teenager hence the smoking but i have out grown that. i like going out to the pub, but not really going to town so much. i can cook quite well, my bedroom is tidy, i have a good job and i smoke weed at the weekends (usually after the pub) if cannabis is a problem to you then dont bother contacting me as i have no interest in anyone who will try to impose thier views on me, that goes for strongly religous types too! sometimes i can be a little blunt but not in a ...

Like most people, I own a car and my home. I have done environmental work in N.Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Zambia. I am happiest doing practical work, but not your typical manual worker.
I watch TV selectively (on rare evenings when I'm not socialising!), mostly "serious" stuff, and "good" comedy programmes. When working, I like to listen to Radio 4 - prevents my mind stagnating totally! I like "strong" music that "has something to say". Dido and her like are bland and boring to my mind. I enjoy live theatre and (rare) visits to cinema.
I walk with a group, cycle, swim occasionally, but detest gyms - boring!

Im rubbish at these kind of 'introductionary paragraphs' but il give it a go anyway :)
Im currently a student at the university of chester, studying for a degree in sociology. Hopefully, once i have finished this i will get to travel, and one day end up working within social work and councelling. I guess im just a typical student, i enjoy my nights out and love all my friends both here and back home in cumbria. I do, however, also like my quiet nights in, especially if the funds wont allow anything else :)
Personality wise, i can be quite reserved until i get to know people, im generally a good listener, with a (sometimes)sarcastic sense of humour, but i like that :)
