About me
I'm 21 years old, in my 4th year of university in St Andrews. I'm a fairly quiet guy until you get to know me a bit, at which point I'll start to open up a bit. I'm not really into clubs - I vastly prefer just staying in with someone, or a trip down the pub. Also the music's a lot better than a constant bass drum going off. I'd say I'm pretty easy to get on with. I'm not very opinionated, and tend to listen to everything. I love metal and rock music, particularly Finnish rock bands. I get the feeling that a lot of girls on this site get the impression that receiving a message from a guy auto means that the guy is in love or whatever shiz like that. Honestly, get over yourselves. It's either that or they just can't be bothered replying, which in all fairness is down right rude. Some guys really are just looking to make new friendships and meet new people! About me
- Where I liveSt. Andrews is a pretty small town. We have 3 beaches and the best university in the world. It never rains up here. Even if it's raining, it's not 'actually' raining. The people are relatively nice, and even the neds/chavs don't start any trouble.
- Where are you originally from?Falkirk. Small town in the middle of Scotland. Only live there when I'm not on term time.
- Do you want to stay there?Being honest I'd be quite happy just staying in St Andrews. If I did move somewhere else, I'd prolly prefer it to be smallish i.e. not some place like London or Birmingham.
- What is your occupation?I'm a full time student studying chemistry. I'm just about to complete my 4th year and move into 5th year.
- What have you done so far?Got into a good university. Not done anything stupid in my life.
- What are your future plans?Finish my degree then apply for PhD work.
- Your perfect partnerI don't actually know, since there's so many different people out there, singling certain ones out seems bad. I know I would like someone smaller than say... 5'10", or around that height. Not really looking for people who live clubbing or who wanna get drunk every weekend. I guess I prefer the rock chick image, since I can relate to a few of their interests more easily. I don't think I'd be comfortable with 'loud' people. Just want someone down to earth, who enjoys a good laugh. Also don't want a stick insect or health freak lol. Corsets and lacing are really nice, as is dark red hair and dark purple.

- What are you interests/hobbies?Eh, not much I'd want to talk about. I play trading card games, but public opinion makes that a kind of taboo topic. I really like the internet!
- MusicPOWER METAL! Metal, rock, almost anything from Finland, and a touch of stuff like MSI, Muse, Radiohead on the side. Sonata Arctica are musical gods.
- Your fav tv seriesErm... Bleach is about the only ongoing series I watch right now. I don't really watch TV per se, it's kinda a bad habit to get into, although that's just me. I prefer watching stuff online.
- Your fav books/authors"How important would it be that your partner reads the same books?" LOL not at all. I like the odd sci fi book. This reads as "I like Star Wars books"
- What sort of movies do you like?Action, shooting, the odd horror. Alien, Rocky, Rambo, Die Hard, Gladiator, Pulp Fiction, Star Wars, Transformers, 300, Battle Royale.... kinda typical 'guy' films lol.
- Types of people you like?I get most comfortable being around people who are like me. Bland explanation, but there ya go. Get to know me first cuz I'm too weird to describe =/
- What kind of people do you find attractive? Sexy girls ;)
- FoodI'm a student, so pasta and cheese about covers it. If I'm splashing out, beer and burger is always good. Mexican food is awesome. I could say I like italian, but that would be pasta variations that are prettied up and cost about 10 more than tesco sells it for. I discovered a love for Japanese food. Give me ramen and I will love you!
- DrinksI prefer to drink stella artois, regardless of its reputation. I really only drink if I'm out with people, and usually just have 3 or 4 pints depending on how long the night is. Just enough to get happy, not drunk.
- HolidaysHolidays were a big fad as a kid. Nowadays unless it's with someone I'll generally prefer to stay home and save money. Besides, I'm far too lazy to pack.
- PetsI have an undying love for cats, but have never had one cuz parents said no :(
- Fav thingI'll be honest and say my card collection. I've met countless ace people by starting to play a certain game and haven't regretted it one bit. I've been able to meet some of the best friends you could ever wish for.
- Fav PlaceBED. Anywhere else just isn't good enough.
- What's your favourite radio station ?I have never religiously listened to a station, just whatever my dad has on in the car. Although I have discovered kinkardshok (or something like that) which is german/danish/something like that. Metal music all round :D
- What's your favourite tv station ?The anime channel.
- What's your favourite drink?Stella Artois and Lemonade and Irn Bru and Sprite and Milk. NOT mixed together.
- What's your favourite food?Well I'm a guy so english breakfast and steak by default. Love ramen and bento boxes. Pizza, chips, cheese, pasta, chicken, bacon. And who doesn't like chocolate?
- What are your favourite activities?Just hanging out with friends brings more enjoyment than anything else.
My attitude
- Family lifeI'd like a family at some point. Once I'm all settled down for one. It just seems like the right thing to do. Sharing your experiences with your kids and watching them grow into something you can be proud of seems to be a great achievement.
- Jobs&WorkingI'm a student. My 'job' means a degree to me. A degree means a job to me. It's a vicous circle.
- MoneyMoney generally means a good thing to me. If I have it, I can buy stuff. If I don't have it, I sit and do nothing. Just the way of the world.
- PoliticsThe country sucks for policies. And the justice system isn't justice at all. Outside of those fluttering thoughts, I don't pay attention to politics and don't understand it either.
