About me
I'm an aspiring author of the fantasy genre and I sail on tall ships as a hobby as well as playing videogames (mainly RPGs), watching anime and seeing the great outdoors. I have a great interest in tall ships as well as sailing on them and I love history prior to the 20th century...so anything 1800s and before interests me. Additionally, as well as writing in the fantasy genre, I am a fan of fantasy in general. I'm a Leo, so I pride myself on what I can achieve, and I'm always interested in making new friends. However I can be vicious if you get on the wrong side of me and I can be quite stubborn and pedantic *grins broadly.* Don't let that sway you though. I'm looking for a handsome young man with long hair who has at least some of the same interests in me. Please note that I really don't want kids. Furthermore, I'm usually laid back but need to be more spontaneous. Hope you can help with that. ^_^'

About me
- Where I liveI live near Norwich in Norfolk. I like the region as there's still a lot of countryside unlike a lot of other places, and there's quite a bit of history around here too. Despite what others might say, East Anglia IS a maritime region (where was Admiral Nelson from hmm?) I'm actually quite proud of where I live, and I don't know if I could ever really leave it behind permanently.
- Where are you originally from?Norwich. Norfolk born and bred.
- Do you want to stay there?I'd like to stay here, but there are also other places I'd like to live in as well. Portsmouth is one of those places. I don't think I could leave Norfolk behind though.
- What is your occupation?I'm an aspiring writer in the fantasy genre, and I sail on tall ships as and when I can (I volunteer with the Tall Ships Youth Trust and Jubilee Sailing Trust). My job goal at the moment is to be somewhere in the voluntary/not-for-profit sector with young people (aka helping them to become more active).
- What have you done so far?I've done admin and retail before, but as mentioned before I'm looking to get into the voluntary/not-for-profit sector. I've achieved a lot as a volunteer already in nearly a year, including: having an article in the local papers, being interviewed on a local community radio station twice (and been asked back again), and spread the word about the tall ships charities to various different organisations.
- What are your future plans?Become a published author and to keep on sailing!
- Your perfect partnerHe has to be aged between 21-27, have long hair and be between 5'10" and 6'4". I'd like him to have at least some of the same interests as me and he can't be "anti-christian" as I am a christian myself. The only real problem I can see is that I don't want children. It's hard finding someone who feels the same way.

- What are you interests/hobbies?Creative writing, sailing on tall ships, videogames and anime, seeing the great outdoors.
- MusicI've never been to large live gigs (only a couple of small ones which have been to see Erasure). I'd be up for it occasionally though. I'm interested in (my profile lists some of the categories) heavy metal, new age/world, some classical, some techno, 80s synth, and various others. I have a few favourite bands such as: Nightwish, Within Temptation, Blackmore's Night, Enigma and Erasure, but other than those it tends to be specific songs and just some bands that I "like" rather than love.
- Your fav tv seriesRed Dwarf and various different anime (if he likes that sort of thing.....I hope he does).
- Your fav books/authorsI don't read as often as I used to, but I am interested in the fantasy and history genres. It doesn't matter to me what he reads as long as it's not cheesy bog standard fiction that pretty much reflects real life as it is...
- What sort of movies do you like?Fantasy, historical, sci-fi..... Pirates of the Caribbean, The Three Musketeers, the Alien Quadrilogy, the Matrix, Pitch Black & the Chronicles of Riddick, Interview with the Vampire, Queen of the Damned....etc
- Types of people you like?Those who have some of the same interests as me to begin with. Pretty much anyone who I have at least SOME common ground with anyway. If they're too different from me, I just can't seem to make a connection with them.
- What kind of people do you find attractive? Guys with long hair...hmm, oh yeah... Roughly shoulder length or longer....(don't get me started).
- FoodI'm not fussy with food really, but I do like Chinese. And, erm...I can't cook *blush.* Yeah, put me in a kitchen and you're likely to be faced with disaster. The results will usually be edible, but I think it's safe to say that's NOT my forte.
- DrinksI don't usually drink, but if I do I like brandy and rum (erm, I became a sailor...yeah), and I also like cider and white wine. I don't like red, blegh. Not me. I don't get hammered, I prefer to go no further than slightly slurred speech and only just being able to walk straight with a bit of a fuzzy head.
- HolidaysSailing on tall ships! Yeah! Nothing quite like helming a sailing ship and climbing to the top of a mast. I like relaxation too. I just don't like the places that are jam-packed with tourists 24/7. City breaks are good...erm...recreational activities and the outdoors. That sort of thing.
- PetsI have a cat and a dog, and we have chickens and pheasants down the bottom of the garden (my parents wanted them you see). No, we don't eat them.
- Fav thingMy favourite possessions seem to change every once and a while. At the moment it's my new shiny silver Final Fantasy VII 10th Anniversary PSP with Crisis Core.
- Fav PlacePortsmouth, on board HMS Victory or on board a tall ship whilst I'm a member of the crew.
- What's your favourite radio station ?I only listen to the radio in the car, and I flit between channels because when cack comes on I just have to turn it over. I usually flit between Radio Broadland, Radio Norwich, and Radio 1-4. I've been on Future Radio (a local community station) talking about the tall ships.
- What's your favourite tv station ?Erm...ain't got a favourite. There's rarely anything good on any of the channels at the best of times.
- What's your favourite drink?Non alcoholic - tea. Alcoholic - brandy/rum.
- What's your favourite food?Chinese.
- What are your favourite activities?I'm having deja vous here...I'm sure I've said all this before. Sailing, martial arts, walking, and the great outdoors, playing videogames and watching anime.
My attitude
- Family lifeI am interested in marriage eventually, but I don't want children. I'm not traditional really, I tend to eat tea alone in my bedroom with the TV and laptop on, and I don't belong in the home. I don't have domestic tendencies except to ensure that my electronic equipment WORKS. I have physical strength behind me (don't worry, I don't look like Arnie), and sexism really doesn't go down well with me.
- Jobs&WorkingMy ideal job(s) will be both hobbies and a good source of income. I want to do a lot with my life.
- MoneyI'd like to have lots of money to do a lot of different things with, and I'd just like a good circle of friends. Having lots of them doesn't matter, just several who I can meet up and have fun with who I can also rely on.
- PoliticsI have far right wing tendencies. I'm rather conservative.
