Where are you originally from?Born near a Surrey village but come from a long line of Macclesfield Forest people. Moved here in my 20s and stayed. I've always lived in the country, apart from two years in London. Cities can be great for short spells but I couldn't live in one.

What is your occupation?Work on technical and editorial matters for a small web site development company. I love the work but it can get stressful when servers crash or I get writer's block. I often have to write convincingly on subjects I'd never heard of the day before.
