Chaoticmind (45) from Bristol, England
About me
Well Hi there, What makes people join these sites? I used to think it was utter madness! But they say the first sign of madness is talking to your self. I guess stage 2 must be arguing with ones self, and stage 3 must be when you start losing those damned arguments! Well now I've apparently reached stage 4 and joined this site with you!!! So I guess I'm looking hard to find that someone special. Someone to nobly save my sanity and fill that loveless little void in life (ahh!) :o) Anybody out there up for the challenge? Supposedly it only takes a little mail!!! ;o) I'd love someone with a wild sense of humor, their own thoughts and opinions, chalk or cheese. Honesty and sincerity are a must (if that's possible). Be passionate, independent but still in need of cuddles, and welcome a friend to talk to about anything and everything. ;o) P.S. Camera's and I have never got along, so don't believe it!

About me
- Where I liveI live in Bristol at present, a lovely city but the locals aren't initially friendly . But I guess all good things take time. Plenty to do, fairly small, and I have some of my best friends and family here.
- Where are you originally from?I was born in a strubery, or more precisely that was the name of the maternity hospital. My parents still live in my home village of Hook in Hampshire.
- Do you want to stay there?I've lived in several towns & cities; Hook, Bristol, Reading, Milton Keynes, Manchester, Glossop, Edinburgh, and back to Bristol. So nothing ever held me in the past!
- What is your occupation?I'm an iT consultant solving Customer & company technical issues in what could be considered a final line support role for a large iT company. Typically the small group I work for use an holistic approach achieve problem resolution, and we always seem to come up smelling of roses.
- What have you done so far?Always performed a technical problem solving role. I've been promoted only slightly more times than I've been demoted, (by choice). My current employer has had me back 3 times so I guess we must like each other! Every job is different so it keeps me on my toes, and I suspect that's why I always return.
- What are your future plans?Find my sole-mate! Work is secondary to a meaningful relationship. You can always find another job to pay the bills, but finding your sole-mate is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
- Your perfect partnerSomeone honest, faithful, and genuine. Independent but still wanting a close bond. There own thoughts and opinions but open to debate. Good friends earned by actions.
Stuff I like
- What are you interests/hobbies?Reading, watching films, theater. Solving problems which is work again. Walking when it's not alone.
- MusicPretty much everything both new and old, but with a particular love of the 80's.
- Your fav tv seriesScrubs. Hero's.
- Your fav books/authorsAlastair Reynolds, Greg Bear, Douglas Adams, Steven Baxter
- What sort of movies do you like?Sci-Fi, Drama, Thrillers, Chick Flicks!
- Types of people you like?Truthful, caring, thoughtful, empathic.
- What kind of people do you find attractive? I genuinely believe it's the inside that counts and what loved ones really see. But if judging a book by it cover was the aim I'd be inclined to pick someone with; long dark hair, nice shapely hips and a pear bum, not too tall, and more importantly both cute and cuddly, (but who wouldn't?). But then most of my relationships have been with tall slim blonde's! Essential attributes would be caring, loving, empathic, with an independence that still needs to be loved and share a close bond.
- FoodAnything with the exception of dessicated coconut. I love all types of food and it's one of the best things about travelling. I love vegetarian food, but then again I like raw meet too!
- DrinksRicard, Wine
- HolidaysI prefer the colder climate, but I've pretty much always gone with the flow and been to the hotter parts.
- PetsLove cats, intelligent and low maintenance. Like dogs but high maintenance, and the cities aren't the best place for them. Just 2 walks a day around the block. Rats are pretty cute too.
- Fav thingNothing.
- Fav PlaceParis.
- What's your favourite radio station ?None.
- What's your favourite tv station ?BBC2 and Channel 4, maybe.
- What's your favourite drink?Ricard, Wine, Diet Pepsi.
- What's your favourite food?Anything apart from dessicated coconut.
- What are your favourite activities?Reading, watching films, theater. Solving problems which is work again. Walking when it's not alone.
My attitude
- Family lifeA real family.
- Jobs&WorkingSometimes I enjoy it, other times it just pay the mortgage.
- MoneyWell it buys pretty much anything including fair-whether friends. But I'd give it all up, (if I had it), to be with my sole-mate.
- PoliticsI suppose idealistically I'm a socialist, wanting a balance in society, not an ever growing gap between the people with nothing, and those with more than they can spend. I haven't voted for years and it would probably save an awful lot of time and money just opening a phone book and picking somebody at random! After all nobody wants to pay for the public services they want, let alone those other people want or even need. So politicians can only ever lie!
