About me
Well hello there. Came on here to find new friends, chat to people, enjoy some fun on the forum and hopefully meet someone that little bit special. I'm an outdoorsy kind of girl, love camping and hiking...I'm quite happy pitching my little tent anywhere. I want to see the world, every inch of it while I still have chance. I love driving around in my Shirley Bassey (car) and getting myself lost on purpose...I believe it tests my geography skills! I'm training to be a geography teacher, yes that'd be secondary school! I'm quite an easy going type of girl yet will grab every opportunity available! My friends have given me a number of nicknames, Ankles, Anks, Spanks, Whoopi Spanks, Afro girl. I agree, my friends are wierd but I love them so. Anyways, please feel free to send me a message, I don't bite...honest! xx

About me
- Where I liveI'm in Lincoln at the moment, live right behind the castle, I'm a princess! Moving to Leicester in September for a year, after that, the world is my oyster.
- Where are you originally from?Grimsby, yes I am a cod head. Is my home, always was, always will be
- Do you want to stay there?I want to move abroad, maybe Africa? I just want to see the world, why ignore it when we can see it?!
- What is your occupation?I'm a student teacher, secondary school, to make it worse...geography is my subject! Ouch! But I don't half love it! I'm a bit of a geography geek so it suits me down to a tea I guess
- What have you done so far?I've been to Africa, The Gambia. I went with university and I loved it, best thing I've ever done and hope to go back one day, see all my new friends, see more of the country and teach there. It was no tourist holiday, saw things the average joe blogs wouldn't have seen. Other things, worked a lot with children, tried things that I have wimped out on and tried things I now take up as hobbies, ie kayaking. As a kid, I was one of those that did everything, sang in a choir, played in brass bands (including marching), was part of a youth council, did quite a bit of peer youth work, list goes on and on!!
- Your perfect partnerSomeone who'll send me sweet text messages, buy me flowers, lets me treat him too. Someone who'll travel with me and is as much of a geek as me! Dark hair and dark eyes, yum. And a podge, every man needs a podge! And he must make me laugh, and decent joke at that too! I'm an old romantic at heart!
Stuff I like
- What are you interests/hobbies?Rather outdoorsy, camping, hiking, kayaking. Like reading, watching films and dancing in my favourite clubs, like Gullies! Playing trombone, although don't have much time for that. I am also a scout leader, I re-opened my scout troop in June 2007, and love it. Its hard work and stressful at times, but I do enjoy it.
- What sort of movies do you like?I like my chick flicks and comedies. A little scared of scary films!!
- FoodI love cooking, I'm a vegetarian though so they'll be no meat on the menu! Although I eat fish (therefore Im a pescatrian)
- DrinksI dont drink much, doesnt take me long to be drunk, a cheap date apparently! I rarely drink though, I prefer to be sober, so you can get me diet coke...NO ICE!! Oh and my tea, 2 sugars with lots of cow please
- HolidaysI don't do the average british holiday, you know the type, hop on a plane, travel somewhere a little warmer and its just like home. I want to see things no one has seen. Try Africa
- PetsI want a monkey. Did have a fish, called him Panis, gave it my little brother to look after whilst at uni, 3 years later, he's killed him
- Fav PlaceThe Gambia, laid on the beach letting the world pass by
My attitude
- Family lifeI would love to one day get married, have children. Thats the ideal, but whether it happens, I don't know, I'll have to wait for the right man I guess
- Jobs&WorkingI am generally very career orintated, I am working hard to be where I want to be, a teacher, although I wanted to be a primary school teacher, its now going to be secondary. I would love to teach abroad
