Recently unleashed once again (after some years of partnership) onto the singles scene thought I'd put my profile about to see if I get a response. I'm super easy going, adaptable, loyal, friendly, with a young outlook on life, looking to meet a similar spirit. I'm pretty uncomplicated but do like to meet someone who will keep me on my toes. I've been inactive for a while and would love to get out and about a bit more. I love the outdoors, all weathers, I love animals, get on great with kids but I'm not your typical british pub going, sport and football lover. I prefer to take part and be part of creating my own interests rather than watching other pursue theirs.

About me
- Where I liveI live in Cardiff, close enough to catch the breeze and head into nature. Beautifull suroundings, I love the sea, hills and sand and it's all nearby!
- Where are you originally from?Born in Stevenage but moved to Holland at the early age of six. I reckon this has mentally scarred/oops, I mean influenced me and I do like to be able to feel at home there as well as the UK as I moved back the UK in 1982 and to Wales in 1991.
- Do you want to stay there?I'm open. Wouldn't want to move too far from my family as we get on so well but in future years, who knows where I eventually end up, never say never.
- What is your occupation?I work for a firm of loss adjusters and work primarily on night-shifts and weekends (Helping people who have suffered losses and need immediate help or advice) but I'm looking to change this to be more socially mainstream if I can. Update: I'm just applying for another role which covers the above remark (more sociable hours) Fingers crossed I'll get it!
- What have you done so far?Sorry, won't fit on this page, apply within!
- What are your future plans?Simply enjoy my life, whatever it throws my way! I'm not in a hurry to meet someone new but striking up a friendship and see where it leads. I'm treading a bit more carefuly second time around!

- MusicLove all sorts, Love playing music (guitar) as well as listening to all sorts A - Z (Aerosmith to ZZ top!) Icluding some classical pieces. Not fond though of Jazz, especially modern - can dp my head in!
- Your fav tv seriesWho's line is it anyway. In the right company though I don;t need the TV at all
- Your fav books/authorsNo favorites, like all kinds of reading, especially when I can learn something from it.
- What sort of movies do you like?All sorts.
- Types of people you like?I like all kinds of people as long as they're not false. I have friends ranging from their late 20's to early 50's. I disagree that women can;t be friends, I have a few and we get on great. From my point of view, what's beter than getting some impartial advise from a woman about women! Ilike people to be straight, nothing worse than someone pretending to be a friend when they don't mean it!
- What kind of people do you find attractive? Something about Green Eyes, maybe because I'm slightly colourblind? I dunno but something about them, especially if the rest of the person's just as nice to match. Generally though, I just like people so I reckon attractiveness is usually just a mutual attraction which is probably why I've not yet dated someone of the above description.
- FoodMy one downfall, please give me exercise so I can enjoy food and not gain too much weight (put on a few too many pounds over the winter, especially since our UK summer ended May 2007!). I just love all kinds of food, including healthy stuff so I'd say variety is the key!
- DrinksDon't drink a lot but enjoy lots of different tastes.

- PetsI have a cat but I'm allergic to the poor thing (I have to wear gloves and a ballaclava! LOL,not quite), I Love dogs but haven't got one (yet?), mainly cause I need to find someone who likes them too and is willing to share the responsibility. They do take some looking after and I'm not sure about kennels whilst the owners venture abroad on Hols. The larger the dog the better for me personally (A Horse would be ideal!) but I love just about all animals.
- Fav thingMy guitar(s) and riding my bike (touring) with the MP3 player on.
- Fav PlaceWherever I lay my hat. I have loads of places I like but no real favourites (yet?)
- What's your favourite radio station ?No favourite, Any that play a selection.
- What are your favourite activities?Loads of these; camping, walking (as long as it's a nice scenery and with the right company), cycling, kite-boarding/powerkiting (not very good at it yet, a more recent thing!). The list goes on.....
My attitude
- Family lifeI love my family, they're all individuals and my friends like my family too which I think says a lot. They live close enough to visit regularly-ish but not on the doorstep, a brother in France but good place to go too!
